Story

An orphaned Goat living in an ancient city of Sandville, which was guarded by White Tiger, one of the Four Divine Beasts. She had lived in the slums of the city since she was a child, hardly having enough to eat almost every day, yet she would not steal food even she was starving to death, and eventually collapsed in front of a spice shop. The owner of the shop took the girl in and taught her the ways of the trade, and Lida was talented enough to learn them all and became the owner's assistant, taking over the spice shop when the owner passed away. At the age of 18, she started traveling with the merchant caravans in order to continue trading spices. However, since most of the merchants were men and the "female merchants" were not welcome in the caravans, she uses her body, which was the most valuable thing of her life, to "trade" with the men in order to get the right to follow the caravans.

Lida collected spice packets from different places, containing seeds, fruits, roots, and barks of rare plants from all over the world, which were supposed to be preserved in a special way. There were fourteen bottles of special spices in total, which had no effect on their own, but when mixed by Lida, they could produce a variety of different abilities. According to the information provided by the members of the merchant team, the known combinations of spices were: Aphrodisiacal Incense, Truth Incense, Hypnotic Incense, Fire Incense, Antidote Incense, Puppet Incense, and Rise-again Incense, which was only heard of in legends.

In the past, a rich merchant who suffered from ED offered a high price for the formula of the Rise-again Incense, but it was rejected by Lida, and this was the only time that Lida rejected a deal.

Review

TLDR: Lida is a S-tier Mage, with a mix of damage over time and burst damage, with a moderate ability to reduce healing received for the enemy team. She can stack poisons defensively whenever allies are hit, as well as from her normal attacks. She is best used on full-Tribe faction teams, so maximize use of her defensive poison stacking.

Summary

Lida's weapon is fairly solid with a ATK% boost and Healing% effect received reduction right off the bat. It becomes even better at +30 when it can extend all poison effects on all targets by 1 turn, which can make an impact both vs bosses and in PVP. The weapon may not be top tier because a portion of Lida's damage takes time to built up and the weapon only adds to that, but it is close to top tier.

Technical Details

ATK% Increase: Operates as a passive boost, raising ATK at the beginning of combat and cannot be dispeled. Healing effect received reduction: Works as a Battlefield Aura, occuring at Lida's Speed during the battlefield aura application phase before each turn starts.

Aphrodisiac effect: Applies during the battlefield aura phase, but does not create a unique debuff icon, instead just extending the turn duration of any poison on any target by 1 turn.

Lida is a good unit, but since she is not part of the base summoning pool, F2P most likely won't be able to pull enough copies of her to make her impactful enough. She may have minor use in certain Guild Bosses early on.

Lida finds good use in 2 different Guild Boss battles, plus is reasonable in PVP but as of today is not part of the highest meta. If her synergy with other Tribe units improves in the future (i.e. Meghna or Thea Awakened Weapon) this could change, as she is nearly capable of just 1st turn killing units like Hata and Hibiki with her defensive poison stacking.

When ally Tribe heroes take Direct Damage, casts 1 Poison effect on the attacker. The affected target takes 15/25/35/55% of the caster's basic ATK as Elemental Damage at the end of the round, lasts for 1 round.

Decreases the Healing effect receuved by all enemy heroes by 5/10/15/20%. (+30) At the beginning of each round, casts 1 Aphrodisiac effect on all enemy heroes that are not leaders, and the Poison effect on the affected target is extended for 1 round.
